Thanks to everyone who came out for Zine Fest! It was my first time at this particular show and I had a blast meeting so many creative awesome people. Next up, APE, which is fast approaching! I'll be sharing a table with Phoenix Zoellick, and together we have joined forces to bring you the Beast Parlor! we'll be at table 711-712, please do come and say hello.
OVOK, you look like you've gained weight
I've painted up several new OVOK sculpts! instead of resin, I've cast them in gypsum. yes it's true ovok has gained weight (the gypsum sculpts are almost twice as heavy) but they look and feel even nicer than the first batch.

New BIG beasts!
here's some pics of a brand new resin cast beast sculpt that i've been working on for a while. he's a hefty little guy, just over 3 inches tall, and i'll be selling him with a clear display box with a laser cut and etched stand. i have 6 uniquely painted sculptures that i'll bring to MOCCA with me, and i'll be making more and posting them in my shop when i get back from new york (i'll take much better pictures of those:)
MOCCA Fest NYC
i'll be in new york april 9-10 for mocca fest! it's an amazing array of talented artists writers and comic creators all coming together to bring you their work. i'll be sharing a table with the lovely and talented willow dawson (illustrator and comic artist extraordinaire) we'll be at booth L-24.
as well as some new prints to pedal, i've got a brand new odd fauna beast sculpture, and he is BIG! well not that big, but he does tower over the rest of my little guys. I'll be posting him up in my shop when i get back from ny.
BAZARRE BIZARRE
I'll be at this amazing art and craft fair in San Francisco Dec 11-12! there will be tons of talented vendors there for all of your holiday shopping needs, and i'll be there with lots of brand new goodies too, including 3 new additions to my cast creature sculpts.

i'll be at this years alternative press expo in san francisco oct 16th and 17th with lots of new prints and sculptures, including the 4th addition to my hand cast sculpts, a big bad wolf. well maybe not so big, but he sure is bad. well maybe not so bad as just a little grumpy.

fresh new sculpts!
so i've been playing around with different ways to make my little creatures. i've stopped selling the hand sculpted guys cause they were just too time consuming. instead i've decided to create molds of a few of my favorites and do a limited edition of each one. they're all hand cast in resin (by me), primed, painted, and ready to take home in their own little take out box! in reality this is probably just as time consuming, but i love the process of creating a little creature army, although i could do without the crazy toxic fumes. i'll have them at the renegade craft fair, and up in my etsy shop soon, so stay tuned!

oddFAUNA sculpts
for fun and to get away from the computer for a bit, i started creating these little 2 inch creature sculpts based on some of my sketchbook doodles. They were a big hit at APE in SF last year, so i made more! it's sort of become an addiction.
