an ovok for the sophisticated collector

i'm really excited about this new ovok cast! he is cold cast in bronze (a mixture of resin and real bronze powder) and can be polished up like a real little bronze statue.
i'll have them at designercon, which is only a few weeks away! soooo shiny

beastie wedding cake toppers

i was commissioned to do some custom oddfauna beasties as wedding cake toppers, what a cute idea!

woodland ovoks

the woodland ovok orders are finished, hooray! here's some painting process pics

the mold release is cleaned off

 they're primed

 hand painted

 and sealed with a clear matte varnish. then signed, stamped and numbered on the bottom

and packaged in their fancy pants display box before being shipped out to their new homes.

o my, i nearly forgot that ape is 1 mere week away! don't worry your pretty little heads, in spite of being up to my eyeballs in kickstarter ovoks for the last little while i will have some new goodies for your perusal pleasure. i'll be at table 202, right front and center, i do hope to see you there.
